And so it begins… I will be updating “live” as I travel to Detroit for the Bitter Cold Showdown. It is just past midnight and I’ve finished packing. Flight leaves at 6:45 AM.

6:45 AM departure. Josh Glowicki, Brady Johnston, Dale Travers, and Keaton Newsome left last night at midnight. Glowicki let me know around 3:45 that they had stopped along the way to get a photo. They’ll be meeting up tomorrow. Nothing else to report just yet, but here’s the drive those guys are making as I type this.

Just a quick update. Layover in St Louis and they like their mizous here. Ok, I’ll admit I need sleep.

Just before we landed I snapped a couple photos of the cold earth I am about to call home for the next week.

Grabbed lunch and my bags, now just waiting. Mac should be here soon and then things really get started

And allow me to introduce my associate and legal counsel for this journey, the Doctor. Our first mission, aquire an American made car. We after all will be going through the Motor City.
